just what it says, i need to know if they are the same because i cant seem to find any 318ti hoods for sale, anywhere, unless its new and i just dont have the money for it. I wrecked it and i need to get me a new fender, hood, and a few bolts. but i dont know if they are the same. anyone know?

Thanks

the Ti hood is the same as any 4 door e36.

I think you need any E36 4 door sedan hood.

But the numbers oughta match on real oem,,,

Any 4 door e36 hood is good.
Any 4 door e36 fender is good.
Any E36 nose panel is good.
Any 4 door front bumper cover is good.

dude...i love u guys, just saved me about 2hrs of searching and it got my dad off my ass =)

also another quick question for future reference...would it be better to turbocharge my engine, or replace the 4-banger and put in a V6, or can i even fit a V6 in there???

we were talkin about it at school, long debate on it

Thanks much

There are sections dedicated to both forced induction and engine swaps.
Please use them.

it would be best to put a dasc on it. there are engines which will swap into the TI.. i am not sure what they all are.. know of a couple

pdxmotorhead 04-16-2007 06:39 AM

Any E36 engine will fit.

I have a torch and a mig welder, pay me enough and anything will fit :)

Here in PDX we have Pacific who does engine swaps They quoted me a starting price of abouit 3500 (325 or 328 motor) and as much as 10K (740 V8)

Rule of thumb, if youve done a few,, an engine swap isn't bad especially BMW into BMW, any thing else and you better be prepared for it to take as long as it takes....

I did one myself. Lots of research needs to happen first. Everything went together fine...

Not quite a rocket like an M3, but close enough.
