I can't for the life of my remember the correct terms for this, but using camera lenses of different focal lengths will give you a different perspectives of a scene. Gah... it's not " depth of field"... geez... gotta keep googling. LOL EDIT - I was thinking of "perspective." A lens with a long focal length "compresses" the image, and the background seems closer. For examples, check this page, and the " Focal Length" section of this Wikipedia page. So, for that shot of the car on the rooftop, they were probably using a long focal length with the camera mounted on a nearby building. |
