Another EWS question Car: 07/95 318ti w/ EWSII and Keyless Entry/Alarm Motor donor: 03/95 325is w/ ASC and EWSII (Silver label 413) I already modified the M50 harness and removed the ASC plug. 413 silver label has a TRM custom tune (It's a fully rebuild 3.0L M50 stroker) and the EWS green wire on pin #7 has been removed. I'm hearing that because my ti is EWSII that I will have to modify it car side due the fact the DME won't be sending the signal to the module. I know how to do this, but I'm not sure if I need to. |
You need to talk to Barrie (BMWCONNECT). I think the only thing you need to do is connect the starter kill wires in the EWS if it has that relay. I don't know 1995/older (OBD-I) very well but know they can have EWS written out of the code or the one wire cut trick. I know a ton of stuff about EWS II in 1996 to 1998 BMW's. Barrie would know this for sure |
