Midwest Ti Roll Call!

Post here if you life in the Midwest (IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI), I'd like to see how many of us there are, and where. We seem like a rare breed out here- I was completely amazed when I saw two tis in one weekend a few weeks back. maybe the owners are on here. One looked to be Alaska Blue, I have no idea what model, and the other was an obviously non-bmw orange/burnt umber with an active exterior. Anybody claim them? I haven't seen them since.

If there are enough of us out here in the flats, maybe we can pull a meet together sometime.

Me: I live in the East suburbs of Saint Paul, MN.

Well I don't live in the states mentioned. I do live in Iowa, which is still the the mid-west and I often frequent Wisconsin and Chicago.

We're pretty spread out, huh? We need to get recruiting, boys!

that would be awsome have a meet this summer or something

JakeNotCliff 01-31-2008 06:09 AM

Yeah, it might take considerable driving, but I think it'd be great to finally meet some ti enthusiasts in the area. I doubt it's going to be warm enough for any functional meet for a while though, so late spring/early summer sounds good to me too.

Cincinnati here.

A meet up in Indianapolis maybe?

Well looking at the spread on the map, the Chicago area looks like it's the center of all of our locations. I'd have to drive upwards of six hours, which is a little sketchy, but the rest of you look like you could do it in five or less. Cincinatti is second farthest at about 4 hours and 45 minutes from Chicago. I'll have to see how the drive factor plays out.

Indy sounds good to me, although I haven't been to Chicago in years.

Not sure what rocket ship you drove in but Chi-town is a solid 6 hours from the Queen City (also lived in Minneapolis). I know it should be less (cuz I did Cincy-Chicago in college in 5 hrs) but every time I drive it's crazy now. You either have to drive like an idiot 10 feet off someones bumper at 80mph or park in the slow lane with RV's and cattle trucks. I hate it, but would go for a Ti meet n greet.
