interesting data. I opted not to go with a CAI, but simply FOGG mine but forward like the 95 factory intake for my 97. Cost like $11. I documented it here in the forum. :cool:

The factory intake looks like a "cold intake" system to me.

The problem here is they just slapped on a Cone filter. True and expensive CAI packages come with engine heat isolation barriers and when you close the hood they make a seal from the engine heat. These kits do make a little more power but it's only 2-3hp and better intake sound. every little bit counts though!
