Removing throtle body

I'm thinking to remove the throtle body and clean it since the transition between the two butterflies is not as smooth as I would like. I would try to get it all nice and clean and lube it properly.
Did anyone else experience anything similar?

But here's the actual two questions:
1) should I replace the gasket between the throtle body and the upper manifold (part #4 here)?
2) both the Bentley and the TIS mention to disconnect the coolant hoses from a preheating element. When I removed the manifold I don't remeber any coolant hoses going to the throtle body. What am I missing?

I would go ahead and replace the gasket. I think the preheating element they are refering to is sandwiched between the upper and lower manifolds. I know on the m44 there are no coolant lines going to the throttle body.
