HOW TO: FOGG Your Airbox |
Also for a note, the m42 engine can be fogged without any cutting of the actual box, as the stock hole in the air box is already at 4 inches. |

It's super easy to do... You are basically making a snorkel from your air box to your driver side fog light. This allows your engine access to more and cooler air. I am merely giving you a basic idea but you don't have to use the exact same things I did... I used/did the following: 4inch ducting (same size as your dryer vent) Something to mate the duct to my air box I cut an appropriate sized hole in the air box ENSURING that the hole was below the air filter I mated everything up and tied the end of the ducting to the foglight |
I really just don't buy fogging on the 95, Mine has a nice large bore tube that connects to the radiator core support and it gets its air from the drivers side Kidney Grill. Unlike the M44 with the cross over pipe... I thought the fogg hooked to the driver side Brake duct not the fog light.. Dave |
It's actually spelled, "Fogg" named after the guy that came up with the idea....he did it on a 1.9 z3 http://mz3.net/articles/149.html |
