1997 318ti online owners manual
 

HI guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knows where i can get an online owners manual for a right hand drive 1997 318ti. The car was bought here as a second hand import from Japan but it didn't come with the owners manual and i would really like one for it as i have some things i cant work out how to use or what they do.

I've heard that if you register with BMW USA you can access an online manual through the owners circle (have your VIN # handy). This will obviously be for a LHD car but most things will be the same. To get the real thing keep an eye on ebay,they crop up every now & then. If you have any specific queries about your car, just post them here, we can usually help.

I believe this will only work if the VIN was a US import.

Yes it is only for US cars. I tried it earlier in the year. Is it possible for someone else (based in the US with a 1997 318ti) to use their VIN number to get me a copy of the online manual. I would be most grateful.

I bought my owners manual at the dealership for $25,if you find one on ebay it's probally gonna be the same price if not more with shipping. Just go to the dealership and buy one...

There's a 3-Series E36 Bentley Service Manual in pdf format floating around on the net. Don't know if I can post it up though.

I bought mine from a dealer for my 95ti. They didn't print that manual any more so I received a high quality reproduction through BMW. I think it was $15.

Go check it out on ebay...
They should have it!
