Show me your knobs...

I would like to replace the black leather M knob in my 98ti Sport.

If you have a picture of your knob and recommend it, post a pic for us to see.

I have had several Momo knobs in previous cars, but was thinking of going for this set from UUC motorwerks:

RK Shadow

Knob requirements:
- Must be able to get matching eBrake
- Must be shorter than stock
- Should not be overly susceptible to temp change (freezing cold in winter, etc.)

I would love to hear your thoughts...

My knob is smooth like a bullet!!!!!!

Put this Momo in last summer, along with an Z3 M shifter. Really short throw, very happy.

Nobody else has a pic of your Shift Knob?

i swapped out the OE vinyl knob for a maple one (stripped/sanded/painted black) that i got from a friend. i really don't like the squishy feel of the leather wrapped ones, and it cools down pretty quick when hot. feels better, IMO.

Wassa Matta.............you don't like my knob..... :x

Personally, I don't like the "chicken bone" or "golf club" looking knob. I prefer symetrical knobs.

:) Dude, I ain't dissin yo knob so chill...

I am just about choice, gotta have choices...

I like symmetrical knobs as well, however the last couple I have had have been all aluminum and would get hot to the touch after long drives or in the summer... And freezin in the winter.

I think the symmetrical knob may not fit as well in the ti interior... that is why I wanted to see some pics.

http://www.tiburonturbo.com/other/momoknob.jpg

mine is just a bit different, i think maybe the newer one from that. dunno, it is momo though

gadgetphreak 01-29-2005 05:11 AM

I like the look of that, my only concern is using a knob that connects via the allen screw...

Have you noticed any play in the knob when you drive?
