What parts exactly do you need? If it's body work then no except for the headlights and front bumper, but if you want to swap over the engine then sure.

You want us to fill out a "wont" fit on the Ti? That would take like a whole page.

no i mean like parts liek suspension cuz i cant really afford new stuff so my friend is gonna give me his old parts so like that stuff

Only the front suspension is compatible not the rear.

ok thanx could i use anything else like pulley's etc

Viper3812 05-23-2007 11:54 AM

If you mean by putting 328 engine parts in your 318 engine then no.

Let's go this way: what's broken on the ti and needs replaced?

Much easier to tell you what parts from the donor car you can use.

96cali 05-23-2007 02:55 PM

OR what parts is your friend upgrading and willing to give you?

318iS 05-23-2007 05:37 PM

take the brakes...

TI racer 05-24-2007 06:02 AM

well brakes, suspension, and thats all i know of right now i know tha rear shocks are compatible tho

Viper3812 05-24-2007 10:14 AM

No they are not. Only the front suspension and front brakes are compatible. The rear will never in your life time be compatible.

96cali 05-24-2007 02:37 PM

Ti racer- what is the build date of your Ti? The brakes are the same as the 328is if your ti was built after 4/98.

As for the rear suspension, the Ti uses the older e30 trailing arm suspension with seperate springs and shocks. Other e36 coupes/sedans use struts (combined shocks and springs).
