FS 17x8 OZ Superleggeras in SoCal

SOLD!!!

I have for sale an immaculate set of 17"x8" OZ Racing SuperLeggeras. They have absolutely ZERO rash and are perfectly straight with no bends whatsoever. These wheels are very clean and well cared for. Currently have Toyo RA1's mounted but they are completely worn. I have a spare set of 235/40/17 tires with 60-70% tread left that I'll include if picked up locally. These are e36 fitment, you could see in the pics that they fit really well with no rubbing issues. I could get some better close ups if anyone's interested. BTW, these things are super LTW, only 17.6lbs!!! I'll entertain any reasonable offers on these Genuine OZ Racing wheels. Not many e36's sporting these as they're no longer available. This is your chance to increase performance and BE DIFFERENT!!! Asking price is $999.99obo, buyer pays shipping.

Had an antracite set of those on my first E36 318is, great wheels, free bump!

Killer set of wheels right there...

and a killer salesman too, apparently hehe :p GL with the sale, jess.

Thanks guys! I really like these wheels, but I'm in need of something with a lower offset. How's the price, do ya think I'm asking too much? I'm eyeing a set of wheels that cost twice as much:wink: Personally I think they look awesome on a slammed Ti. They give a rally or track-rat appeal to our cars. If nothing else they identify your car as a tuner, but these things are not only LTW, they're strong as hell.

They are a great set of wheels. A set of 10mm spacers fr/rr would give you a lower offset (30mm) without having to change wheels. You would need to adjust the camber accordingly in the front and roll the rear arches. Also since you asked, IMHO the price is steep. You can get a new set of OZ Ultra... for a couple of bucks more.

Cheers,

Forgot to ask, what wheels are you currently looking at?

I'm getting ready to do a widebody and need more than 10mm. As for the price, I priced them based on a set that was sold on your website in the parts bin for $1350. I know those were new and came with new tires, but these are as close to new as you can get, come with tires and are no longer being produced. I am going to be somewhat flexible on the price though, and that's why I asked so thanks for your input, I'll keep it in mind. It's a toss up on which wheels I'll be getting. I'm looking at CCW classics, BBS RS's or these:

Figured I'd bump this thread with better pics. 17x8, ET40, 5x120mm bolt pattern, 72.56mm center bore, O-Z Racing Superleggeras with a hypersilver finish.

I would advertise these as mint, but they do have a couple "nearly invisible" scuffs around the lug holes. They are so minor that my camera cannot capture them and can be buffed out with rubbing compound followed by polishing compound and then waxed to perfection. For that reason, I have listed these as "immaculate" and will say that they are almost perfect. I'm well aware of what Ultraleggeras cost new, that being said, these ARE NOT Ultraleggeras, they are Superleggeras which are no longer in production. These look much better than Ultraleggeras IMHO.

For the record, this is a complete set of 4 wheels. If you would like a 5th wheel for use as a spare, 318ti.org member "Stimpy" has 3 of these wheels and is willing to sell one individually. I cannot guarantee the condition of his wheels since he lives on the other side of the country and I have not seen them in person. I can say that I highly doubt that you'll find another set of Superleggeras in this great of condition. Here's some better pics that were taken today:

As you can see, these things are CLEAN. There's no brake dust, ABSOLUTELY ZERO curb rash, even the barrels are clean! They've only seen a couple track events and less than 500 miles on the road. They've only had one set of tires mounted which you can see in the pics are pretty worn. The tires in the last pic will be included IF AND ONLY IF they are picked up locally. If shipping, I would rather leave the current tires mounted to protect the wheels from damage. I will have them dismounted at the buyers expense and risk, but this will more than likely equal the extra cost of shipping with tires mounted. Any SERIOUS offers?
