i dont plan on running super low on the car (wife will be driving too.. that could be expensive) , so i'll be using a 225/45/17 tire all around and a little pull/roll on the fenders should do the job.

Great choice for the rims. Very nice, only a couple of blemishes... They'll look great.

Watch the spot where the rear bumper meets the wheel well... that is the culprit for most rubbing in the rear.. Just dremel off the edge of the bumper.

LOL.. thanks guys. i'll be using a fender roller and hammer as needed on the inner edge. the car will be going to paint very soon anyway too. on some cars i have just cut the lip off entirely in some areas. my lexus rears were rolled and then pulled almost 25mm :D took a good few hours of massaging.

^^^Yeah, what he said... :)

Fender roller and hammer won't work on the area we're referring to. The inner corner of the rear bumper will rub where it meets the wheel arch on the rear quarter panel. The bumper is plastic. You can roll and hammer on it all day and it will still flex back to it's original position. You'll see what we're talking about when the time comes:wink:

THAT318 12-18-2009 11:23 AM

those wheels are pure sex. ill trade them for my sister? lol nah but they a nice look.

spidertri 12-18-2009 03:22 PM

Are those 5x120? Do you know what the centerbore diameter is? They look great.

projekt EPiK 12-18-2009 04:40 PM

bought them on BF.c.. guy had them on an e34. i can measure the bore, not sure if i'll need rings or not to center them. havent even had the rims off my new car yet and i've had it for almost a month now... rare for me.. haha

spidertri 12-18-2009 05:12 PM

Ok, I was wondering if they were E34 or E39 wheels. E34 centerbore is the same as E36, E39 is bigger and requires the rings.

awesome. thanks!

Awesome pick up. Congratulations! I'm a little jealous. Post pics once they are mounted.
