These cars are so damn hard to find!

So.. I'm still looking for a ti.. I've been looking every day.

I'm searching everywhere from LA to Mexico for a clean, low mileage ti..
Craigslist, autotrader, cars.com, newspaper.. you name it.
Nothing.

grrrrr... I'm just venting. I want this damn car like now.
I'm so sick of my current daily driver.

I know how you feel...
I've been searching for another one for over a year and a half for the one i want...
still searching.

No, I haven't.
I'm not really willing to drive out that far to check out a car and end up finding out it's a total pos.
Unless it's like a crazy good deal for a practically new ti, I'm gonna stay within a couple hundred miles.

rofl, I think it's funny that some people are searching so hard for a ti, I got mine as a last resort after an E36 coupe, an E34 5-series and an E36 M3 clone fell through

thesk8nmidget 02-25-2008 04:01 PM

i see them all the time for sale within a few hundred miles and i think there are 3 for sale in houston right now not including mine.

some people are just waiting for the exact one they want.

That's what makes the 318ti so RARE and SPECIAL! :)

Yeah I love it....I have had mine 2.5 years and I have never seen one in my hellrot red. Its awesome when I get more looks in my car then in my father's 330ci.

I searched for a long time for one at a decent price. I had to drive to Houston from Austin for it too haha. So glad i waited though.

Not really. Just that the OP was looking for low mileage. It is hard to find any at least 9 year old car that falls into the low mileage category. You should expect that even the newest Ti's will have somewhere around 70-90k miles on the low side.

Going with the average of 15k per year you end up in the 120k+ range.
