Steering wheel question

Does any one know if you can change out a steer wheel from 98 M3 in to a 98 ti and not have any problems with the air bags and such. I have a source for a 3 spoke steering wheel from M3 and was going to install into my ti to replace the 4 spoke I have now. What problems may I run into if any?? Thanks in advance

I think it is plug n play no problems at all.

check the number on the steering wheel, then check your number on your car, then go online to search that if it is match, or you could just go to the shop, they know everything about the airbags, and remember you dont wanna mess with the airbags...

I did the swap on mine from a 99 M wheel. You will not have any problems at all. All you do is unscrew the airbag from behind unplug the airbag sensor and horn sensor, then the center bolt and it's off. Takes about 15min.
