OEM CAT?
 

Hello,

So as some of you might know. I'm on the hunt for a CAT. I installed a direct fix OBDII approved CA Cat from NAPA. Three weeks later the CAT is starting to rattle. Due to some new law passing in CA. (http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermk...ftermktcat.htm) they are having issues finding a replacement. None of the auto parts stores can order a cat for my car.

I'm looking at an OEM one from the dealer with a price tag of 1375.14. WhenI enter the part number on Pelican Parts (18-30-1-435-664-M198) its brings up a DEC cat.. i'm guessing this is not OEM. Is Pelican Parts just referencing that number?

Anyone have any OEM cats? or any suggestions where I might be able to find a new one?

-harriman does not recommend installing non OEM cat. ! (yes i read the many threads concerning this and decided to not install OEM. I guess you get what you pay for huh?
