Its ok. Ive seen a nicer one. 415+ HP, nice rims, nice brake setup, nice looking twin screw SC, etc. Its from the M shop owned by Joe.

He says the car is OBD1, but the engine is from a 1998 M3, can that be?

Sure, an OBD-I conversion.
I'd give a kidney for it.

wow THATS the interior I want but white, for my car!

L84THSKY 11-04-2006 01:34 AM

I thought you needed to go OBDII to use the 98 model engine? Then there was an issue with federal law about about switching one to another. That may only apply to someone trying to install an OBDI engine in an OBDII car.

Depends where you live.
For instance on my OBD-II they just plug into the OBD port.
If it was OBD-I, they'd do a sniff test and run it on the rollers.

The problem would be an OBD-I motor in a +1996.
Again depending on your area.

Those OBD-I converted cars are fast:biggrin: I believe Zionsville autosport has a OBD-I convrerted S52 in an e30 with simple bolt ons like CAI and Exhaust making 290 hp. Federal Law:tongue:

I think he meant that he did the OBD-1 intake manifold conversion. I did the same to my M3.

Platanos 11-04-2006 04:41 AM

He wants 14G's without the wheels and ICE

That's funny because I though to myself if I was to buy that car those are first things I'd get rid of.

myblueTI 11-04-2006 04:54 PM

Its a nice looking car i just dont see how you would be able to put down that kind of power in such a light car..it would make a good drifter

StealthBimmer 11-04-2006 05:14 PM

Now that looks fun to drive and own. Lots of hard work put invested into it. Hmm maybe I should sell some of my other cars for it.
