Stolen white base ti Hi guys... I've been a ti enthusiast for about 6 years now and have a Black 95 sport with almost 200K on the clock. I may have met some of you folks at various races and AUtoX's... Recently my girlfriend bought a base bone stock white 95 ti with only 60K on the clock. It even still had the crappy wheel covers on. She had hoped to modify the crap out of it. About 2 weeks ago it was stolen from her apartment in Sacramento. Any sightings or other information would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at psudom3@yahoo.com. Thanks, Jeff |
I'm sorry to hear about that. At least she hadn't put any major amounts or work or money into the mods yet. I'd keep an eye out, but I doubt I'll see anything in MN. |
That sux. Was this the car purchased in Massachusets? Maybe it will work out if they strip the car of it's bumpers, mirrors, front seats, 15" alloys and 1.9L. Then insurance will kick in and you can get the M goodies instead. |
95 has unpainted skirts and lower bumper correct? i'll throw a lookout on the other forums i frequent. just in case the criminal is dumb enough, what're the tags (or at least the last three digits)? |

I doubt she purchased it in Mass and drove cross country with it. That is kind of pointless for a ti when there is plenty available in the western part of the us. Sorry to hear about your situation, that really sucks. |
I hope this isnt it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-3...QQcmdZViewItem |

I drove an '83 Dodge Omni in college. I ususally walked to school but one day I drove right to class from somewhere else. I walked home at 2am tired as hell and got all freaked cuz my car was not in front of my apt. as usual. After some choice words and what my parents would say, I remembered it was back at school so off I went, pissed and tired. As if someone would steal an Omni... |
I always think that 318ti is not a high-theft risk vehicle, due to its relatively low production number. If the car thief is for a joy ride, they would pick a M3. If they are for the parts, they would pick a Honda/Toyota of which parts are of high demand and easier to sell in black market. |
