m3 moldings for ti?

where might one find m3 door moldings that fit a 318ti? these parts for the coupes and sedans abound, but i cant find one for the ti, which shares the front doors with the sedan. do the rears match up as well? if not what did those of you with fresh m moldings do?

they are made specifically for the ti

The ti does not share the doors with a sedan. Think about it, coupes, verts, sedans and compacts all have the same wheelbase. That's why sideskirts are one size fits all. Sedans have 4 doors, therefore the doors are shorter and the front seats don't tilt forward. Coupe, vert and compact doors are really close in length, but the coupes and verts don't have a frame around the window like the compact doors do.

The only things similar to any other e36 on a ti is the fact that everything from the a-pillar forward is the same as a sedan.

That's way too much is there a site to buy some like ddm or something?

Crashaddict 09-03-2012 12:20 AM

That's where I got mine, I dont know of another source

I was stoked to pay $180.00 for mine. That blocky trim just doesn't cut it. Money well spent.

The OEM set is available from Tischer for less... $160 here;

It's where I got mine, and the OE quality is worth it. The aftermarket stuff from DDM (which I bought for my M3, as they don't make a set for the ti) was poor quality and didn't want to stay in place, always popped off...
You're welcome...
