What is a fob?

In my neck of the woods an FOB = Fresh off the Boat.

Foam on Beer?
Fabricate own Beer?
Found one Beer?
Fell on Beer?

Anyway, I need one(beer that is). Thanks,

alarm/keyless entry remotes
BTW, thats a great deal on the widow regulator! someone should jump on it if they need a passenger one.

LOL, FOB could be the new rave.

Need to clarify, what I have is the motor section of the regualtor, not the actual scissor mechanism.

I thought it was a good deal, I guess it still is. He's selling just the motor. They usually don't go bad, it's the regulator arms that get bent and sometimes it's such a PITA to straighten them, it's easier to just replace it. Not to say that the window motors won't die, it's just not as common as the regulator arms getting bent.

BTW, it's usually caused by the grease BMW used drying out and becoming a paste after about 8 or 9 years. It goes like this: grease dries -> sliders stick -> regulator arms bend -> sliders pop out -> window falls off track -> bends vertical tracks -> regrease sliders/straighten regulator arms/put everything back together(forget to straighten vertical tracks) -> repeat process 10 times -> motor dies from friction caused by bent vertical tracks:mad: The End.
