Bavarian Autosport Caliper Bushing Kit

Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm wondering if it's a worthwhile upgrade or not. Steven, didn't you have some problems with these?

i bought two of these kits. i would only use them on a race car where you're likely to be rebuilding or monitoring them freqently. the guys who used to work on my car didn't even have the rubber boots on their calipers - said it helped to keep them cool. of course, you wouldn't do this on a street car as junk would get in there. they had lots of little mods like that.

I agree. Track use only. I wanted to try these as well and with no provision for keeping dirt out I decided to pass.

I had a problem in that I tightened one too much and it seized.
Definately not worth it for the street. The bushings are subject to the elements.
I would pass.

That's good info. Thanks for chiming in. I've never had a problem with the stock parts, I'm planning on doing the caliper rebuild soon and was just wondering if I should do this while I'm in there. I'll skip it and save the money.
