Actually I do not find moving a baby in/out that bad if it's your second car. I'm 175lb, 5-9" if that gives you a comparison. It gets easier BTW when they can walk and don't need the big infant carrier.

Do you just leave one car seat in each car? It just seems really tight back there for moving a kid around. A friend said it's not too bad, but he has only occasional experience with it, and I'm worried that daily use will be a real hassle.
This is the second car, and it would become my car (horrible as that may be:tongue:) when the baby gets here. (Insert manual and Bilsteins/H&R)

i mean it might just be me, but i would not put my kid in the back of a ti. its just to small and has no chance with the size of most of the vehicles in the US. id go for a safe 4 door car with more room in the back

One of the issues a lot of people have is getting the seat to slide forward fully. Basically, if the front seat is in any of the most extreme positions (notably down), it won't go forward as much as it can. Take it one click up and there is a big difference.

Maybe that will change your mind. Otherwise, good luck with the sale!

I have two car seats in my ti, including a backward-facing infant carrier. I'm the one responsible for day care drop-off and pick-up, so I do this every day. Just about 5'9'', 150 lbs. Bit of a drag, but it could be worse--I could be taking public transportation.

My older daughter just climbs into her seat on the passenger side, and I dive into the back and buckle her in. My infant sits behind me--I flip two latches on my seat and I can swing her carrier onto its base without having to step into the back. As for the size, I can pick up dropped toys, blankies, sippy cups (I know, I know, I too said absolutely no drinks in my car) and hand it right back to my daughter. I can comfort and tickle her when we're stuck in traffic. She can play with the sagging headliner (Daddy, your roof is falling down! :mad:)...

Suck it up, cupcake. You can deal with the short-term inconvenience of having a two door car until the little guy gets big enough to climb back there by himself. You've managed to get your fat ass in the back of my ti often enough to know that there's plenty of room back there:)- Seriously, I'm sure it's not the most optimal of all possible solutions, but from a fiscal standpoint and considering how long you tortured yourself over getting the thing in the first place I think you'll be happier in the long run if you keep it. You know you'll regret it and miss it if you get rid of it and it's only going to harder to find these cars as the years go by. Keep it.
