FS 17x8 OZ Superleggeras in SoCal SOLD!!! I have for sale an immaculate set of 17"x8" OZ Racing SuperLeggeras. They have absolutely ZERO rash and are perfectly straight with no bends whatsoever. These wheels are very clean and well cared for. Currently have Toyo RA1's mounted but they are completely worn. I have a spare set of 235/40/17 tires with 60-70% tread left that I'll include if picked up locally. These are e36 fitment, you could see in the pics that they fit really well with no rubbing issues. I could get some better close ups if anyone's interested. BTW, these things are super LTW, only 17.6lbs!!! I'll entertain any reasonable offers on these Genuine OZ Racing wheels. Not many e36's sporting these as they're no longer available. This is your chance to increase performance and BE DIFFERENT!!! Asking price is $999.99obo, buyer pays shipping. http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a...Cimg0004-2.jpg http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a...Cimg0006-1.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...Cimg0011-2.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...Cimg0013-1.jpg All 4 wheels are 17x8 et40. Thanks for looking. |
Had an antracite set of those on my first E36 318is, great wheels, free bump! |
Killer set of wheels right there... and a killer salesman too, apparently hehe :p GL with the sale, jess. |
Thanks guys! I really like these wheels, but I'm in need of something with a lower offset. How's the price, do ya think I'm asking too much? I'm eyeing a set of wheels that cost twice as much:wink: Personally I think they look awesome on a slammed Ti. They give a rally or track-rat appeal to our cars. If nothing else they identify your car as a tuner, but these things are not only LTW, they're strong as hell. |

Forgot to ask, what wheels are you currently looking at? |
1 Attachment(s) I'm getting ready to do a widebody and need more than 10mm. As for the price, I priced them based on a set that was sold on your website in the parts bin for $1350. I know those were new and came with new tires, but these are as close to new as you can get, come with tires and are no longer being produced. I am going to be somewhat flexible on the price though, and that's why I asked so thanks for your input, I'll keep it in mind. It's a toss up on which wheels I'll be getting. I'm looking at CCW classics, BBS RS's or these: |
:_pelvic2: bump so you can sell your supers and get those gold bbs. so sexy. |
:dribble: I hate being a broke college student :frown: |
Figured I'd bump this thread with better pics. 17x8, ET40, 5x120mm bolt pattern, 72.56mm center bore, O-Z Racing Superleggeras with a hypersilver finish. I would advertise these as mint, but they do have a couple "nearly invisible" scuffs around the lug holes. They are so minor that my camera cannot capture them and can be buffed out with rubbing compound followed by polishing compound and then waxed to perfection. For that reason, I have listed these as "immaculate" and will say that they are almost perfect. I'm well aware of what Ultraleggeras cost new, that being said, these ARE NOT Ultraleggeras, they are Superleggeras which are no longer in production. These look much better than Ultraleggeras IMHO. For the record, this is a complete set of 4 wheels. If you would like a 5th wheel for use as a spare, 318ti.org member "Stimpy" has 3 of these wheels and is willing to sell one individually. I cannot guarantee the condition of his wheels since he lives on the other side of the country and I have not seen them in person. I can say that I highly doubt that you'll find another set of Superleggeras in this great of condition. Here's some better pics that were taken today: http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2445.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2444.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2447.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2451.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2448.jpg |

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2454.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2458.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2461.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2464.jpg As you can see, these things are CLEAN. There's no brake dust, ABSOLUTELY ZERO curb rash, even the barrels are clean! They've only seen a couple track events and less than 500 miles on the road. They've only had one set of tires mounted which you can see in the pics are pretty worn. The tires in the last pic will be included IF AND ONLY IF they are picked up locally. If shipping, I would rather leave the current tires mounted to protect the wheels from damage. I will have them dismounted at the buyers expense and risk, but this will more than likely equal the extra cost of shipping with tires mounted. Any SERIOUS offers? |
those are sweet. I've personally seen them and they are indeed in EXCELLENT condition. SOMEONE pick these up - just in time for the Holidays!!!! |
OMG jess in the last pic you still have my old drivers front seat lol:biggrin: |

Jess, those RA1's don't look that bad. Shaved RA-1s have no visible tread on them. You have to look at the little markers on the side of the tire to see if they are down to the wear marks. From that one pic, it looks like there is still a few millimeters of tire left before they will cord... You willing to ship those? Only bad thing is team dynamics are a little lighter and cheaper, but not a name brand... nice wheels though. |

Well, I finally made it back to this site. I've got some more spare time now. Like Jess mentioned, I do have 3 of these kind of wheels for sale, but I rather keep them if I can find a 4th one. I've been looking for the past 8 months and haven't found anyone that is selling just one of these. Definitely these wheels are very rare indeed! |
I have a set of these in 19x8 on my E46. I love the wheels. I also have another dark grey set brand new in their boxes in storage, also 19x8. Whoever gets these will not be disappointed. |
Local Sale Pending!!! Tomorrow morning at 7:30, I'm taking them to a guy in Port Hueneme who's 328i was vandalized and the tires were slashed. Thousand Bucks! Guess what that means... New wheels for the 332ti!!! |
Good luck! Can't wait to see what you get with the $,$$$.$$ I'll donate $5 to the .org if anyone who doesn't live in SoCal can pronounce "Port Hueneme"... (and yes I know how it's pronounced!) |
how bout these???http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r...5/bbsCH012.jpg |

I could do it though, so I guess they have a point. I am not always a fan of black rims, but that m5 is beautiful. |
Sold!!! Woke up this morning, put the Ti on jackstands, hauled the wheels to Hueneme, installed them on a clean Alpine 328i and the guy handed me 10 crisp hundies:biggrin: http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...6/Cimg2809.jpg |
Congrats Jess, got your eye on anything in particular for new wheels? |

"buzzer sound" Time's up, pencils down! The answer is "wye-NEE-mee" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Hueneme,_California Guess I will have to donate the $5 to my beer fund instead of the .org... (jk, Steve will still get a donation from me this month) |
Lol, guess I'll do the same. Don't worry James, I'm pretty sure we'll have enough leftover for a couple rounds when I take my Ti up to the Bay Area:wink: Steven, you'll get another donation as soon as funds are transfered into my PayPal for a pending transmission sale. FWIW, I was going to spell it out as Port Why-Knee-Me:biggrin: |
hey Jess, might be time to change your sig ;) |
