Bosal Brospeed Arrived

Bosal Brospeed from rendoll just came in. It was pretty dirty, nothing a little Windex Vinegar couldn't handle. Can't wait to get this thing installed, along w/ my new X-Brace

Thanks

Poor... well, the car makes me poor  It's an addiction. God forbid I get a girlfriend, then I'll really be between a rock and a hard place.

Looking good ATF and I agree about the girlfriend part!!

thesk8nmidget 06-07-2008 08:25 PM

looks great! now get that thing mounted!!

StealthBimmer 06-07-2008 08:41 PM

What is ATF waiting for??? Got parts and not installed yet?? Just kidding the muffler looks good. Make sure we get to check it out when done. I rather have my ti than girlfriend hands down.

Hey that thing looks familiar! Glad it found a new home

Finally got this thing installed Ken!!! Along with my X-Brace. Only took me a month, heh.

I have a before Exhaust vid clip off a digital camera and I'll grab one in a little bit for after :)

I do notice that the exhaust needs to 'warm up' to get a deeper sound. It's a little deep/loud/droning with the windows up, and I'm sure it'll be fun driving 3 hours back to Boston tomorrow (sarcasm). I suppose it'll take some getting use to. I didn't drive the corners too hard yet, I want the X-Brace to settle in nicely, and the Loctite to cure before I drive it hard-er. Check back soon for vid clips :)

Still no video clip yet, started to sprinkle over here.. Not too fond of my camera in the rain.

Obviously the resonator would have to be welded or clamped in, and I'd imagine after the cat. Would that mean cutting into the stainless steel catback? :frown:

thesk8nmidget 07-05-2008 06:31 PM

yep. it will help with the drone and raspy noises a lot
it usually is right at the beginning of the cat back

StealthBimmer 07-06-2008 07:06 PM

Better late than never Nick! :) Now get your butt back up here in Boston and take some videos. If you need you can add a stainless steel resonator at a custom muffler shop.

I have this exhuast, and while it sounds good, it does drone like a swarm of angy bees on the highway. I'm going to try for a high-flow resonator and see what that does for it.
