My TI has an identity crisis?

On the sticker inside the car on the passenger side with my VIN and everything my sticker reads: BMW 318is. Is this something everyones car says?

I'm pretty sure mine says 318ti. I know it says E36/5. Does yours say that?

I'm not sure off the top of my head. I asked because when o was getting it aligned I was looking at the computer and it read 318is and I asked him why he had it that way and he showed me the door said 318is instead of TI.
