I guess it depends on the paint job. I doubt it came from the factory that way. Not in the US anyway.

Is that Dakar Yellow I? They tended to fade.
Hard to tell without other pictures.

Seems priced right.

It has been painted, the original color was green. So, due to that and the Sport front bumper, I'd find out why it was painted because it possibly had some damage.

I was looking at this car for about 2 months.. It looks nice.

I would offer him 3-3500K max and no more.

Interior looks a bit haggard, mileage is fair and its a manual. Paint looks like its def not original. Engine bay seems to be black or green as roadrash pointed out.

Depending on the price, Id say it could be a good buy. Find out why he painted though, if you look at it be sure to look at the fenders and doors they will have the vin# on them to see if they match the car....good luck.

yeah, for a 95 with 147 miles, anything over 3k is alot, so it better be in good shape. i am alittle scared of fixing up a 98 with 200k miles (motor only has 50k miles) full leather interior, as i do not think i will be able to get more then 4k for it.

if you keep your eye on this site, you will see a few 95 - 98s sell for around or under 4k.

also, you can get 96 318i with about the same miles and inside for like 1k or 2k around me. same car, different trunk. look for a 318ti with leather and upgraded cd and rims for around $3500 and you will come out good.

also, since it was repainted, i would check the title, and make sure their is no accidents. you can get the vin, and put a mock up add on ebay. (just remove it right away) and it will give you a free car fax =]

nice tip on the eBay thing by the way

hotmilk400 11-02-2010 03:39 AM

haha, np, it def saves money when looking at cars. =] i wouldn't abuse it tho, they might find it strange if you post like 5 cars a day and remove them right away.

make loads of really bad typos in the ad then you can claim you were intending to correct them but then the cars all sold anyways
