This is the panel outlined in
http://www.unofficialbmw.com/e36/int...ges_part1.html

It replaces the ashtray.

Never used. It came with my car in 2000.
If I haven't installed by now, there is no hope. :)

Make me a reasonable offer. US only.

Hi Steven! I'm interested, but have no idea what to offer. Let me read through the thread. The placement looks great and usable.

I'll send it to in exchange for the MAF. ;)
But only if you plan on using it. I hate to see it stay on a shelf for another +10 years. :)

Ha! Ya, it will be for the Cali. Reading through the posts, it looks doable. Just have to gather the sensors and gaugrs

I think it will look good but honestly it's not in your line of vision.
I eventually want gauges and I will install them where the radio is in my 96.

Why not do something like this? It's in the line of sight. Attachment 15264

That is an alternative. I don't use the radio much in the 96. It pretty much sits in the garage and only comes out for track events. Sadly, not much this year. When I do drive it any distance I'm listening to Pandora with earphones so I can also hear Waze.
