slipstream deflector kit for california top
 

has anyone installed the slipstream deflector kit on their california top? the ETK references some other things, which i'm guessing are bulletins or something (see below). the kit is #23 in the pic.

I had one one my 98 ti but it was factory.
It did make a noticable difference compared to the year before.
Maybe you can get ahold of the installation instructions?

i'm wondering if those docs mentioned in the ETK for the kit aren't the instructions or at least some special notes about it. the internet parts guy at crevier bmw in CA has been very helpful on some other things, maybe i can find out what those docs/notes are from him, maybe even get a copy/printout. i was hoping someone had already installed it, could give details and such (including how much of a PITA it is) :)

pretty sure chris at understeer.com did it. He's in Columbus OH.

i got the instructions (pdf file). anyone interested in seeing ahead of time what it'll take to add it, let me know and i can send you the pdf (too big to attach here :( ).

Hello. Did you ever get around to installing this? Pretty simple? I'm thinking about doing the same on my 97, and would much appreciate seeing the directions before ordering. Thank you!

I'm a new owner of a '96 318ti with California top (actually I owned this same car 12 years ago and now bought it back :)).
I'm thinking whether I should buy and install the slipstream deflector kit, could someone please reupload the EBA concerning the installation of the kit?
