Other then catching those guys at the gas station selling FW1.. I'd go for online.. seems cheaper to buy it straight through them rather than ebay or some other online site.. I used this stuff on ALL of my car.. at least anything that it says you can use it on.. I did use it on my wheels and since the brake dust didn't stick to the wheel I could just wipe it off with a terry towel when I saw some.. I hardly wash my car now cause this stuff's so easy to use.. plus I don't have to deal with the expensive waxing equipment.. hey it totally works for me.. and I'm going to keep using it.. :D |

I fear using the 3M product as I don't want to strip away any protective coating in the process, as one other poster mentioned. Thanks for the tip about the low dust pads, how much expense vs. OEM? crysinlone I'm sort of looking to be able to do what you're doing. Where I live I have a lot of calcium in the water so regular bathing might not be the best idea. But being able to touch up whenever I want sounds very inviting. If it has the secondary ability to clean those milky lenses of mine that would be just great. |
I kept looking for a way to fix my headlights and mentioned my problem on the forums for F1-Weekly.com podcast -- someone gave me the advice to use cheap toothpaste. Take a look at the results.... http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...entComparo.jpg I have to say it wasn't as dramatic as I'd hoped, but it only cost me a buck to buy the paste. I'm content with it for now. If I take the time to fix the paint chips, I'll take the time to make the headlights perfect. Until then this works fine for me. |
