we really we shouldnt have to get out of the way. and for places with speed limits its reasonable to see people cruising at 80-90 because everyone is going the same speed.

for places that are going 80 with traffic and people are racing from 40-140 that is not acceptable. we shouldnt have to get out of their way. they should be on the roads at all.

I'm sorry to disagree with some of the people in the topic, but I think your a jackass for calling those drivers a jackass. I'm not sure about yall; but I hate it when I see a M3 driving 40mph in a 60mph, holding up the line in the 1 lane road. Now i'm not saying that people with fast cars should race 24/7 but they should have fun riding an agile car. If people choose to race, put their lifes in danger, and risk getting their license suspended for 20 years, then I give them major props. And plus, it's on a straight away, so I don't want to hear anyone complaining that they are putting other peoples life in danger. What are the chances that they would get into a wreck? If you are unable to keep the steering wheel in a straight direction, then you might want to think about getting a lambo, regardless of your budget.

this is not an argument that can be won on these forums. marv made the point that people in socal drive fast regularly, but that doesn't make it ok or safe.

right... Touché. its not safe.
but irregardless... that video was still kind of cool. since no one was hurt or anything. just amazes me how much hp that 1 series has. oh, i was just using how ppl drive here as an example btw.

yeah agreed the 135 is a beast!

i want one bad! but will wait 10 years

Maverix 06-12-2008 02:52 AM

I never said it was ok to speed. The point I was trying to get across is that I don't appreciate people who call another a Jackass all because they decide to floor it on a clear road with not a single car ahead of them. So I don't see what "innocent lifes" yall are talking about. Don't believe me? Watch the video again.

Obviously, you're the type that makes arrogant assumptions. It's your opinion if you think I'm a jackass. But hey, if I ever see your face on the road, I'll be sure to play a little game of bumper tag with you.

If you want to argue and debate, that's fine. If you want to start name calling, don't expect any sort of respect or mercy.

guys cool it! argue over this in pms, no need to make it public.

Irregardless? Isn't that a double negative?

And just imagine... that's one of my MINOR character flaws. LOL

And as for the other comments... meh. Whatever. Have a nice day.

Proceed is way to agressive of a tune.. And it's not really a tuner at that, just a piggy back... It is not making any changes to the computer management itself, rather it is just faking signals to the computer... It instantly voids the warranty on the engine, all drive components, and all emissions components...

Not to mention that the drive shafts and differentials on the 335 can't handle the extra power... I know people say these things are rock solid now with the extra oil cooler, but that is just not the case when you are running the really aggressive tunes out there.

I think that comment moves you down to the "jackass" category you're trying so hard to defend
