haha, i just recently bought a '99 ti so I've been living on the forum for the past week and this thread gave me quite a few laughs

when you sell your 320whp 2008 Mazdaspeed3 and use the money to bring your ti back from the dead

When your wife keeps saying the car is sooo cute, affectionally nicknames the ti "Tiny", leaves the keys for the 540it you just rebuilt for her, and zips away, sliding through a turn.

I think I'm now looking for another sport... :)

telling your friends that calling shotgun is pointless cause in your ti its basic human rights to let the tallest person sit in front.

i just bought my second ti, a 1999 so its a sport by default. its fern green i believe with 104k on the clock, a california roof and of course a 5spd. i haven't actually seen the car at all but i gave my dad permission to take money out of my account to buy it if he thought it was a good deal and worth it, and him being the biggest bmw nut i know bought it so I'm really excited for when i come home from college to it. plus i just bought a 2002 325ci about a month ago, haha

You know you are a ti owner when:
You change the pasword on your debit card so the wife can't see all the transactions for parts.
When she comes home from work and has to take another package off the porch, coming from strange addresses all across the nation.
When PPl look at your car and say " Brand New? " and it's 14 yrs old.
When your golfing buddies have their back seats folded to fit there clubs and you pull yours out sideways....
When your EVO owning son-in-law gives you the nod and says....." Grandpa Fresh"

You know you're a ti owner when you leave the 330ci vert in the garage and get the ti up to 85 MPH before Teetime does...:tongue:
